Nashville's Emerging Shopping District

The fastest growing area of the country is 'The Gulch' in Nashville with a 46 percent increase in new residents since last May. The Gulch is expanding across Broadway and will soon connect to Marathon Village. With the opening of Publix and Whole Foods in 2019, the convenience in this area is incomparable to any other area in Nashville.
The number of boutique shops opening makes this 1.4 mile stretch a perfect day of shopping for locals and visitors. While Nashville has other great walkable shopping areas, such as 12th Avenue South and Downtown Franklin, the Gulch + North Gulch is more readily accessible from downtown hotels and for Nashville residents.
Kickstart your morning with coffee and breakfast from Nashville's iconic Barista Parlour Golden Sound or Biscuit Love. Try on classic Southern wear at Frye Boots or browse the designer racks at Parish or rock star selection at Two Old Hippies. Milk and Honey does not disappoint for a lunch date or girls lunch. 11th Avenue continues across Broadway where you will find elegant gifts and non-kitch Nashville souvenirs at Sercy + Co. The North Gulch is home to several clothings boutiques. including a California franchise VICI which will open this fall. After shopping, hopover to DryBar perfect for bachelorette blow outs. Continue on to Marathon Village for an eclectic vibe of artists and independent designer stores, including the "Jeweler to the Stars", Vincent Peach Flagship Store.
